Executive Director

Saralyn joined Guest House in 2014. She is a Certified Gerontologist and has served in Executive Director roles for the past 20 years. Saralyn is a member of the Holistic Centers Network and Holistic Community Professionals of Connecticut. She is the co-founder of West Hartford Women in Networking. She is passionate about ensuring that we fulfill our mission statement and provide the best possible experience for our guests.

Director of Retreat Services and Group Sales

Marianne joined the Guest House Retreat Services team in the fall of 2011. She previously spent 27 years in the textbook publishing field, but now enjoys her new career of juggling retreat schedules, and assisting our clients to find the perfect dates for their retreat or conference.

Assistant Executive Director

Charlie began his time at Guest House in late 2009 and has worked in almost every department here. Prior to that, he studied Mechanical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology, which prepared him for the technical challenges he handles as the AED at Guest House. His positive attitude and problem solving ability make him an asset to the team.

Executive Chef – Director of Dining Services

Alan joined Guest House in 2017. He grew up in the family business, which included catering with their grocery and deli. His formal education is in physics and chemistry, but found his calling in the forty years he’s been preparing and serving food. Alan designs menus to nourish the body, soul, and spirit, while providing options and opportunities for the often diverse needs and tastes of our guests.

Facilities Director

Rich is an environmental engineer specializing in soil and groundwater investigation and remediation.  Looking for a change of pace, Rich was contracted temporarily by Guest House to review the facility’s infrastructure and regulatory conditions.  He found Guest House’s culture, energy, and atmosphere a refreshing change from the corporate world and accepted a permanent role as the Facilities Director.
