  • Our facility combines functionality with comfort. We offer group meeting rooms of varying sizes and small breakout spaces where individuals can work together. Guests can gather in intimate nooks, converse around fireplaces, relax in the former tavern, or linger over coffee or tea in the enclosed patio.

    Adjoining the dining room is a beautiful outdoor deck where diners can enjoy delicious meals under the shade of a spectacular centuries-old maple tree, overlooking a small pond. Our guest rooms provide comfort and elegance. Each room offers private bathrooms and a full tub.

    The friendly Guest House staff is dedicated to providing you and your group with unmatched service and will customize your event precisely to your needs. A quiet, restful atmosphere can be maintained for spiritual groups who wish to have periods of silence. AV services can be arranged for meetings, and wireless internet and cell phone service is available throughout the building.

    Guest House is adjacent to the 16,000 acre Cockaponset State Forest, which has many miles of hiking trails. Cedar Lake, a 70-acre lake with a public beach, is less than half a mile away. Nearby attractions include the charming New England village of Chester, with interesting shops and restaurants. Guest House is only ten miles from the Long Island Sound and its ocean beaches.
