Saralyn Kerrigan — Executive Director
Saralyn joined Guest House in 2014. She is a Certified Gerontologist and has served in Executive Director roles for the past 20 years. Saralyn is a member of the Holistic Centers Network and Holistic Community Professionals of Connecticut. She is the co-founder of West Hartford Women in Networking. She is passionate about ensuring that we fulfill our mission statement and provide the best possible experience for our guests.
Marianne Hile — Director of Group Sales
Marianne joined the Guest House staff in 2011 as the Director of Guest Services and Group Sales. Her primary focus in 2024 and onward will be directing Group Sales. She will continue to use her hospitality expertise to find groups the ideal dates for their retreats and conferences. Previously she had a 27-year career as a production manager for an educational publishing production and design firm. She enjoys attending live theater and cruise travel with her family.
Charles Schillberg — Assistant Executive Director
Charlie began his time at Guest House in late 2009 and has worked across the organization in many different roles. Prior to joining Guest House, he studied Mechanical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Day to day his main responsibility is supporting the staff so they can better support our guests and mission. He works in technology, finance, systems, and policy.
Emily Guilmette — Dining Services Manager & Chef
Emily is a graduate of the International Culinary Center where she received classical French training with a concentration in Sustainability. She has worked in both casual and fine dining restaurants with a variety of cultural influences. In her work experience she has continued to forge her own culinary identity.
Emily brings her passions of nutrition, food preservation & science, and sustainable kitchen practices to the heart of Guest House. She aims to lead a Dining Services team that supports guests and staff through nourishment, and to provide meals with intent, thoughtfulness, and joy.
Richard Kerrigan — Director of Facilities
Rich is a retired environmental engineer. In 2014, Rich was contracted by Guest House to review the facility’s infrastructure and regulatory conditions. After finding Guest House’s culture, energy, and atmosphere a refreshing change from the corporate world, Rich accepted a permanent role as the Director of Facilities. Rich oversees the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments, leads the inhouse Environmental Task Force, manages the capital improvement projects, performs general repairs, and maintains regulatory compliance for Guest House.
