Guest House is a sustainable, nurturing, supportive and highly regarded retreat environment. We host organizations focused on transformation in the realms of social awareness/action, mindfulness, leadership, environmental responsibility, spirituality, psychology, health and wellness, education, the arts and related fields.”

Purpose

To serve as an East Coast home for Diamond Approach groups and host organizations with compatible aims.

Guest House is owned and operated by Ten Directions, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation formed by students of the Diamond Approach. Based on the teachings of A.H. Almaas, the Diamond Approach is a modern spiritual approach that involves open inquiry into one’s experience, using traditional meditation  and other methods along with psychological exploration.

The name of our retreat center was inspired by the poem, The Guest House, by Rumi, a 13th century mystic poet.
